Tron 3: 10 Things We Need To See

3. Ed Dillinger, Jr.

While Ed Dillinger has the villainous motivation to resurface in Tron 3 as a threat to Sam and ENCOM, the mystery surrounding his son's appearance in Legacy is a bit more intriguing. While clearly respected by most despite his father's history with the company, Alan Bradley's distrust is quite evident, particularly in The Next Day when he insists to Roy Kleinberg that he will be keeping his eye on the young Dillinger. Couple that with the previously-mentioned Easter egg conversation and all the pieces are in place for Jr. to step up in the next sequel and put his plans into motion. Whether it's unleashing a brand new MCP to wreak havoc on ENCOM (or the world) or abusing the Grid's ability to bring programs into the real world like Quorra for some nefarious purpose, Jr. has the chance to be an antagonist who poses a real threat in both worlds with the motivation of fixing his family name already in place. After all, casting Cillian Murphy for the cameo without capitalising on it going forward would be a huge waste.
