10. John Jarratt - Wolf Creek: Legacy
In the pantheon of massively underrated horror movie performances, it's impossible not to mention John Jarratt in the Wolf Creek franchise.
Across both films and the TV series, Jarratt gives an absolutely blood-chilling turn as vicious serial killer Mick Taylor - an uncommonly savage, murderous xenophobe who relishes the suffering of his many victims.
It's all the more impressive as Jarratt was cast thoroughly against type here, typically known for playing warm and affable characters in his native Australia.
And after many, many years of waiting, Jarratt is finally back playing Mick in the upcoming third film, Wolf Creek: Legacy.
Though the title might suggest a passing of the bloody torch, Jarratt is said to be back in a full-fat lead role, this time hunting down a family of American tourists.
