9. Jay & Silent Bob: Store Wars
Kevin Smith has so many prospective sequels in the works at any one time that it's easy to lose track of them.
But with his planned follow-ups to Mallrats and Dogma failing to gain traction, Smith has turned his attention back to the Jay and Silent Bob well.
Though 2019's Jay and Silent Bob Reboot was a rock solid sequel, it seemed like Smith might leave it there, especially with follow-up Clerks III feeling like a rather definitive send-off for the View Askewniverse.
But in 2024, Smith announced a third film starring the stoner duo - Jay and Silent Bob: Store Wars.
In typical Smith fashion, he optimistically claimed that shooting would begin later that year, but two years later it still hasn't gone before cameras.
Smith does seem committed to it as his next project, though - in an update at the start of the year, he said that casting was still ongoing and it was set to film sometime in 2026.
Obviously the window is fast closing for that date, but with casting underway, it seems like a dead cert to actually get made... eventually.
