Even though 2022's vertiginous thriller Fall was so conceptually absurd that a sequel just didn't seem possible, its commercial success against a tiny budget ensured that a follow-up was fast-tracked into development.

And while Fall 2: Deadpoint just hit cinemas, did you know that Fall 3 is also already in the works?

In fact, Fall 2 and 3 were both announced back in October 2023, with the threequel expected to bring back characters from both previous films alongside a new cast.

The threequel is also set to be both written and directed by Scott Mann, who co-wrote and directed the original Fall but only served as screenwriter on Fall 2.

It'll certainly be interesting to see if Fall 3's production is affected by the second film's lackluster box office performance so far, yet if the budget is kept as impressively tight as the original, it'll probably still clean up enough on streaming for part three to be worth it.
