Wonder Woman: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
3. Zack Snyder Isn't TOO Involved
He has his ardent and vocal supporters, but I think we can all agree that too much of Zack Snyder is no good thing. He's been at the forefront of the DCEU's creative direction for its existence so far, from directing Man of Steel & Batman v. Superman to acting as executive producer on Suicide Squad, but surely now it's time to give the reins over to the many other people who can handle superhero franchises.
Granted, he is a producer and has a story credit on Wonder Woman, but there's not too much sign of a Snyder signature other than the mucky, washed-out battlefields and 20-odd seconds of slo-mo featured in the trailer. Besides, Snyder had Justice League in pre-production during Wonder Woman's shoot, so surely he can't have been that hands-on.
Some might consider celebrating the director's absence bitter or uncharitable. To those people, I commend you for being able to stay awake during Batman v. Superman's two dream sequences.
