14. The End Will Probably Link To Justice League

The question of the other book-end at the end of the film is a pretty pertinent one, and it seems it will tie the story to the present day and to Wonder Woman. Thankfully the flash-back format means we don't get to see the entire history of Wonder Woman's character (as we did for Captain America, for instance), before it crashes up to modern times.

The film will also explain why Batman and Superman don't already know about Wonder Woman despite her origin happening a good 100 years before the evens of Batman v Superman. We will get answers to why she has stopped crime fighting in the interim - presumably because she goes underground after the war, according to co-producer Curt Kanemoto:

“There’s a strong catalyst at the end of this film that represents where she’s been, or not been, when we pick her up in Batman v Superman."
