X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Actors Who Should Play Gambit
2. Josh Holloway
Okay, so, yes: yet another TV star, but if fans could only choose one small screen actor for the role of Gambit, the final tally would certainly lead to Josh Holloway, the Californian actor who made girls swoon as Sawyer on the TV show Lost. Holloway's appearance is a perfect match for Remy LeBeau and his bad boy persona on the show is basically Gambit without an accent, so it's not exactly a stretch to imagine Holloway nailing the role. Holloway also has a rough edge to him that makes me think that he could definitely hold his own against Wolverine in the anti-hero stakes, playing out the rivalry we often see take place in the comics. Rumors of Holloway's casting as the ragin' Cajun' have circulated ever since he first appeared on Lost and even just a few short weeks ago, it was claimed once again that Holloway is in talks with Marvel Studios. However, they don't actually own the film rights to the X-Men franchise, so these discussions may actually be about a different comic book property that has nothing to do with X-Men: Apocalypse at all. We can still dream though right? So who beat fan favorite Holloway to number one?
