Angel may already have appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand - which is set in a completely different era to X-Men: Apocalypse - but let's not forget that that movie has essentially been written out of existence. With that in mind, it seems very likely that Ben Hardy could be playing a new version of the character (even though it's been denied, you have to take that with a pinch of salt). There's a strong case for this potential casting for a couple of reasons - Hardy undoubtedly resembles the character more than any of the other potential characters and this is a character who has to make an appearance in a movie about Apocalypse. Having previously been a hero, Angel had his crippled wings amputated and was subsequently recruited by Apocalypse, who augmented his physical abilities, gave him new mechanical wings and made him one of his Horsemen disciples. It was Archangel that put the Horsemen on the map and it makes sense that he would become one of them in the movie continuity. If that turns out to be the case, don't be surprised if it's Hardy swooping in to fight the X-Men. So there you have it - ten characters Ben Hardy could be playing in X-Men: Apocalypse.
