7. The Real Reason Apocalypse Wants To Destroy Humanity
The trailer sheds some light on Apocalypse's grand plan as it quickly becomes apparent that the ancient mutant wants to wipe out humanity and create a new world for his people without prejudice. However, it turns out that the villain's intentions aren't as pure as they may seem, as Singer reveals that he actually has far more selfish reasons for returning and setting out on a quest to put mutants back at the top of the food chain. The truth is that Apocalypse is horrified when he wakes up and discovers that neither man nor mutant has any real interest in worshipping him.
