Though it's a hard one to actually notice in the film (because it's not confirmed), it has been confirmed by Bryan Singer that Havok's life after Days Of Future Past involved working at a company with a personal parallel to his history.

The elder Summers brother (who is actually the younger in the comics), works as an executive (he's 38, despite looking 17) in a company in Omaha, as Bryan Singer confirmed in an interview with SlashFilm about the gaps between the films:

"Lucas Till says, Okay, I left Vietnam, its the last time you saw me. Im the brother of Scott Summers. What do I do for a living? Im like Well, you live in Omaha, youre an executive at Berkshire Hathaway. Youve cleaned your life up. Your brother doesnt like school, hes the opposite of the Cyclops were going to get to know. Now hes discovered hes got this problem."

Crucially, Omaha is where Summers was put in an orphanage when he was young in the comics.

Incidentally, Berkshire Hathaway is a real company, run by Warren Buffett, which owns major big businesses and part owns Mars and Coca Cola. Which explains the product placement.

So Scott Summers' desire to see his brother do something with his life actually came true.
