Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 New Characters We'll See In The Snyder Cut

You'll no doubt have no trouble remembered Willem Dafoe's Vulko from Aquaman, but that wasn't actually where he was supposed to be introduced. Portrayed there as Arthur Curry's mentor, it appears as if Snyder had a much different interpretation of the character planned for his Justice League.

While Amber Heard's Mera was also supposed to receive a much different introduction (instead of the cringe-worthy chat in a bubble beneath the sea), Vulko was going to present Aquaman's trident to him in this superhero ensemble. That obviously would have changed the events of the character's solo movie in a major way, and it's a scene which will presumably be part of the "Snyder Cut" now.

This indicates that the final act will spend more time explaining why Arthur chose to help his fellow heroes defeat Steppenwolf, and seeing as Vulko's introduction had to be rewritten for Aquaman, fans will likely end up with a completely different interpretation of the Atlantean in this movie (as you can see above, he certainly has a completely different appearance).
