Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 New Characters We'll See In The Snyder Cut

In the theatrical version of Justice League, a Green Lantern is very briefly seen being cut down by Steppenwolf before his ring flies away to find another worthy host. That was Yalan Gur, a character it's been widely reported will have a much larger role in the "Snyder Cut."

While it's unknown whether that will be a speaking part, Snyder's exploration of the Green Lantern Corps looks set to be more than just a throwaway Easter Egg, and don't forget that there were rumours for years that either Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice or Justice League was supposed to end with a Green Lantern crashing to Earth to warn the team of Darkseid's being on the way.

It's possible a scene like that will also be part of this version of the film, though there's been no word on who could play that character. If nothing else, getting to spend more time with Yalan Gur on the battlefield promises to be vastly more rewarding than the blink and you'd miss it scene Whedon delivered.
