10 "Joke" Video Game Weapons That Are Hilariously Overpowered

When it comes to the sheer amount of bloodshed that goes on in the Romance of The Three Kingdoms-centric Dynasty Warriors games, there's not really much to laugh at. These are battles of legend, but ones that full of betrayal, castle burning and backstabing.

However the joke weapons that were included in Dynasty Warriors 8 definitely seek to change the tone of the game. Now in place of a four foot sword that could cleave a man in two, why not slap them to death with a pizza padle or instead of showing an enemy general their place by battering them with a stick, why not do so with a literal battered plaice on a stick!

There's a running joke in these games that the regular enemies you face aren't really the most well trained or equipped to deal with these heroes and villains of legend, but here you can absolutely embarrass them with these overpowered weapons. And I say that even despite these joke weapons usually being much weaker in terms of attack power because in their stead, these weapons offer other buffs some of which utterly break the game.

So why not assault Hu Lao gate with a set of bowling pins, I mean it's no worse than what Huang Gai uses as a serious weapon...a freaking boat.
