Having the new guardians come to back you up in person during this fight is a brilliant evolution of the guardian beasts' assault on Calamity Ganon in BOTW. It turns what would otherwise have been an uphill battle into one on even ground.

But of course, it comes down to Link and Ganon in the end, as he turns himself into a dragon to finally put his eternal rival down for good. All seems lost until Link's dragon girlfriend Zelda comes in to give Link a steed for this final duel.
