10 Actors Who Would Make Great Video Game Characters

10. Morgan Freeman

Universal PicturesUniversal PicturesThis is a no-brainer. Mr. Freeman's vocal chords are as recognisable as the McDonalds logo, and it's for this very reason that the acclaimed actor is prone to be cast in roles that compliment his wise, calm and narrator-friendly voice. With this in mind, who wouldn't love to see such a master of his craft play a veteran Assassin in the Assassin's Creed series - sort of a good version of Al Mualim if you will - and serve as a guiding light for whichever new protagonist Ubisoft come up with next? Who knows, he could be your mentor in the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Unity. The master of narration is no stranger to the darker side of acting though, and with films like Street Smart and Wanted showcasing his ability to play just plain despicable characters, you could just as easily see the veteran play a twisted serial killer in a slow-burning film noir adventure game in the same vein as Heavy Rain. After all, Mr. Freeman is no stranger to the genre after his excellent performance in Se7en.
