Here it is, the obligatory MMO entry. Considering that addiction is a concept that's essentially ubiquitous with every massively-multiplayer online game in existence, it's only fair to lump the entire genre into a single entry. World Of Warcraft isn't the only one, you know. There's always different levels of addiction when it comes to MMOs. There's the entry-level casual who gets a few hours in here and there when your schedule permits, a middle-of-the-road devotee who sacrifices the little things to make sure they're hitting all your goals and then there's the full-blown South Park caricature from 'Make Love, Not Warcraft' who takes things just a little too far. Okay, nobody's that bad (I hope), but could you really blame them if they were? Some people just don't have very much self-control when it comes to addiction and MMOs are like the Shoulder Devil that whispers in your ear to spend just a few more hours getting another level or hunting for a precious rare drop. It can certainly be difficult to resist the allure of such titles, and the genre would undoubtedly be the number one entry on this list if it weren't for the following monster...
