10 Alternate Video Game Costumes You Never Took Off
4. Tingle Armour Set - The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Much of the draw in 2017's Breath of the Wild is freedom. The agency to go anywhere, do anything, and take advantage of the game's physics to forge an experience entirely your own is at the heart of the game's success, and for the first time in the series, the player's freedoms extend to deciding what Link wears on his journey.
Breath of the Wild isn't the first time Link dons a costume that isn't his iconic green tunic. The Hero of Hyrule has spent a significant amount of time out of his regular green clothes. However, in Breath of the Wild, Link can find an outfit that is also green, but far more irregular. Taking obvious inspiration from series weirdo, Tingle, the skin-tight suit is more for amusement than function.
Tingle appears in Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker and The Minish Cap, among others, and his role in assisting Link on his journey varies depending on each release.
He is undeniably strange, and channelling Link's inner Tingle with this costume quickly turns Link's serious adventure into a relative comedy. You won't want to take it off, as every moment in the outfit has the potential to make you smile.
