10 Amazing Games Nobody Managed To Complete

1. Super Meat Boy

Team MeatTeam MeatYou never completed: The Dark World versions of anything. SMB remains one of the hardest, most unforgiving and 'pure mother-effing gamey-games you'll ever play. What does that mean? Well remember when games were only known for being side-scrolling adventures that would happily laugh at your attempts to get through them whilst continually making you land on a pit of spikes along the way? Well Team Meat's first big game harks back to that time, and sets about separating the men from the boys... before making them both cry anyway. It's a fine thing being able to create levels that ease you in with the learning of a homeless yelling into a megaphone, but if you somehow manage to get through any number of these levels, there's also the 'Dark World' versions - those same levels but with added dread, a darker colour palette and a bunch of instant-death buzzsaws where you thought you were supposed to jump. So to make up for the last entry being stat-less, let's take a look at how much this game totally kicked our collective rear-ends: - 6.25% at least got to the end-credits through just clocking the Light World levels, however; - 0.95% managed to clock the final level's Dark version. The best one though? Only 0.8% completed the brutally punishing Rapture Dark World without dying - a statistic that cements SMB as one of the all-time hardest games of all time, and one that it really takes the skills of a digital-messiah to overcome. Which other games have 100% achievements that just instantly make you think you're NEVER going to get them? As with the other patience-testers on this list we'd love to hear which of you actually got through and managed to 100% something like Super Meat Boy.
