10 Amazing Unsolved GTA V Mysteries

5. The Jetpack

Another San Andreas-born mystery that has haunted the series ever since is the jetpack, which appeared as a real (and totally awesome) item towards the end of the PS2 game, but hasn't appeared in a GTA title since. That doesn't stop people from cooking up rumours and hearsay about the existence of a jetack in each of the games after, with the most convincing arguments €“ and Photoshops €“ coming along with Grand Theft Auto V. What better way to see the high-definition Los Santos than by air? The last game set in the fictional Californian state featured a jetpack so, apparently, GTA V should as well. The clues that users have pieced together to €œprove€ its existence are absolutely insane but also...kinda make sense? It all hinges on a sign printed on the side of Trevor's hangar, with the name Jack Sheepe, one of the nom de plumes of nineties adult movie star Jake Steed he used in a porn parody of The Rocketeer. A film that ran for 108 minutes, with multiple instances of "R-108" appearing throughout. The Rocketeer uses a jetpack. That's kind of it. Nobody has managed to find actual evidence of a jetpack existing so far, with the likelihood of it being found about the same as the chances that Rockstar are just trolling it fans. Which is exactly the sort of thing they would do, isn't it?
