10 Amazing Video Game Missions That Got Cut
8. Treavor Pendleton And Teague Martin - Dishonored
As good as Dishonored's story is, you can't help but feel its pacing is accelerating ridiculously fast in the second act. In just one scene, you get betrayed by the Loyalists and escape from the flooded city, and in the next, you're already traveling to the final mission where you take down all of the traitors.
It might seem rushed, but in reality, the reason everything happens so fast is because the development team had to cut out two missions related to Treavor Pendleton and High Overseer Martin, respectively.
One of the developers revealed in a series of tweets that the player would've originally been able to take down the two traitors in their own dedicated levels, as opposed to interjecting in their feud in the final location of the game.
Pendleton's level included a nighttime visit to the city's Parliament, while Martin's had you take him down as he was delivering his speech as the new High Overseer of the Abbey. If this already doesn't sound interesting, each level was to feature a special non-lethal takedown that let you serve some "poetic justice" to your old compatriots.
Because, let's be honest, those guys don't deserve to get off so easily.
