10 Amazing Video Games That Are TERRIBLE To Play

9. BioShock

Generally accepted as one of the greatest games of all time, there isn’t a lot that BioShock doesn’t have going for it. We could also easily use BioShock Infinite as a parallel. example. Both games’ stories are fantastic, with two premises that had never been seen before, relating to that of slavery and choice, time-travel and alternate universes, respectively.

They also have incredible environmental design. The original being set in Rapture, an underwater city made for the highest of society to thrive, away from the riff raff above. Infinite went to the other extreme, taking to a city above the clouds, Columbia, controlled by a prophet and dictator.

What let it down, then?

Well, most agree that, although not the worst thing you’ll ever experience, the gameplay was very simplistic. We’ll continue our examples in light of the original. You go to a new area, meet a key character, boom, your road ahead becomes blocked.

You now have to do something for this key character in order to continue and of course, it requires killing countless enemies and… taking photographs of them to gain bonuses?

A unique idea at the time, but one that has not been missed in the modern era.
