10 Announcements We Desperately Want To Hear At E3

4. Project Morpheus Games Revealed

Sony recently announced Project Morpheus, the PS4's answer to the Oculus Rift, a VR headset which has the potential to shake up the foundations of gaming just as the whole motion control shtick did for an entire generation. That said, if Sony wants to prove that they're taking the tech seriously, they're best-advised to show off some games to make us eager to get our hands on the thing beyond mere curiosity (as it stands at the moment). The rumour mill has been talking about a "landmark" title for the peripheral, and even if the release date might be a while off, just showing off the tech in a creative but clear way will massively raise consumer awareness about the product, and get all of our tongues wagging. At least one huge, AAA game for the device would be great, but a number of smaller, indie games that take advantage of Morpheus' possibilities in intelligent, unexpected ways would be awesome. Sony have done so well so far, hopefully they'll keep their winning streak going.
