10 Anticipated Video Games FINALLY Releasing In 2022
1. Breath Of The Wild 2
There are few video game properties more infamous for delays than The Legend of Zelda. Nintendo fans vividly remember the release of Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker being pushed back further and further. So, when a LoZ demo for the Wii U was revealed in 2011, fans were excited, even though they knew it wouldn't come out anytime soon.
But not only was the game delayed, it was scrapped and restarted from the ground up. Annoyingly, this entry, which became Breath of the Wild, wasn't released for another six years. The wait was unbearable but it was worth it since BOTW was a masterpiece. But because it took so long for this game to come out, many people believed another Zelda game wouldn't be released during the Switch's life cycle.
But in 2019, we learned Link's battle with Ganon was far from over when Nintendo dropped a teaser for the sequel.
As excited as fans were, details were scarce. The trailer didn't show gameplay, a release date, or a title. But after two years, we got a follow-up trailer which showed gameplay and, more importantly, confirmation that the game was out in 2022.
Little is known about the game but we know for a fact that gamers worldwide will be returning to Hyrule next year.
