In the lore of Guild Wars 2, the Elder Dragons are among the most powerful entities in the universe, akin to Gods. End-game boss Zhaitan is one such Elder Dragon, and has been hyped up to players right back since the game's marketing. The dungeon preceding Zhaitan is one of the best in the game. Challenging, thematic and fun, it's everything a good MMO instance should be. Unfortunately, many players were disappointed when it came to the final showdown. Rather than face Zhaitan head on, players must clear waves of monsters from the decks of a gunship while the Elder Dragon flies around overhead. Once these add-ons have been defeated, the winged terror gets shot down in a cutscene. The group must then take control of the gunship's cannons and tap the number '2' key until the mighty Zhaitan dies.
