10 Awesome Minigames In Video Game Credits

8. Vanquish (2010)

Devil May Cry 3
Sega

The oft-forgotten third-person shooter, Vanquish, is an immensely fun mash-up of bullet hell, beat 'em up and classic cover shooting, all wrapped up in a sleek, eye-catching sci-fi aesthetic.

Owing to its gloriously fast pace, perhaps it's no wonder the developers didn't expect you to want to wind down and catch your breath when the credits came around. And so, the fight continues.

Set against a pleasing outer space backdrop, the sequence plays out like a first-person rail shooter, giving you a free-moving crosshair to shoot across the screen with at will. Photographs of the developers will then fly at you attached to giant asteroids, and with a score and timer at the bottom, the game actually keeps track of how well you do.

Granted, there's no extra reward by getting 100%, but why wouldn't you go for it anyway? And given that you could be forced to watch a black screen of eye-glazing names right now, this is one final challenge you're definitely going to rise to.
