9. Moreau’s End
Moreau is undoubtedly the least respected of Miranda’s children and he makes up for it by being the most devoted. He came across as an underdog at first; the under-appreciated forth Lord who could have been pitiable.
But as Ethan progresses through his level, it becomes abundantly clear that Moreau is just as hideous on the inside as he is on the outside. His almost gleeful notations on horrific experiments and his obvious disregard for human life make his pathetic demeanour feel all the slimier – no pun intended.
And that’s not even to mention the gelatinous blob-like creature he becomes. All the final forms of the Lords are spectacularly designed, but seeing his scrawny white torso protruding from that gaping maw is both disgusting and terrifying. To make it worse, he spends the final battle spewing bodily fluids all over you. Gross.
But when he bites the bullet, it’s immensely satisfying to watch him swell and explode with pathetic pleas on his lips. A fitting end. Let’s just hope you were under cover when he did!
