8. Destiny
Another title that little is known about, but the sheer prospect of Bungie teaming up with Activision is enough impetus for us to have extremely high expectations. Coming off the Halo franchise - which they recently handed to 343 Industries - Bungie are looking for their next big IP, and we can assume that Destiny is going to be it. In fact, while we know that Destiny is to be an Xbox exclusive to begin with - before rolling out on other platforms later on - we don't even know for certain if it's going to be coming out on the 360 or the 720 yet (which, of course, could push it well past the projected 2013 release date). Only vague details have been released so far, curiously cryptic information about how Destiny might apparently be a game changer in just the way that the original Halo was; the developers claim that it's going to aim to interact with players in a way that video games have not yet achieved. While we're not yet completely sold given how little Bungie have given us so far, the idea of these two video game juggernauts teaming up is an enticing prospect and we imagine that Bungie would not have ditched the Halo brand without having something outstanding lined up in its wake.
