Final Fantasy X-2 centres on the character of Yuna, who is now part of a travelling all-female band of warriors known as the Gullwings.

One of the new elements the game brings to the Final Fantasy X saga is the dresspheres, which allow Yuna and her teammates to change into various outfits mid-battle, granting them all sorts of different abilities.

For the 2013 HD remaster of the game, a previously unseen dressphere, Festivalist, was introduced. This sphere kits the girls out in traditional Japanese party clothes, from the humble kimono to the more outlandish Chocobo-mask-and-giant-fan combo.

This design was actually submitted by an eight-year-old fan of the series as part of a contest advertised in the game's guidebook, Final Fantasy X-2 Ultimania. It's always nice for an HD remaster to give us extra goodies to play around with, so kudos to the developers for taking the time to bring this little girl's vision to life - giving us a whole new playstyle while they were at it!
