10 Awesome Video Game Villains Who Deserve Their Own Title

3. Jeane - No More Heroes

In No More Heroes' Tarantino-esque universe, different rules apply when it comes to taste. That means it's perfectly fine to have a scantily-clad, insanely sexed-up woman who was molested as a child, then worked as a prostitute so she could afford assassin training to kill her abusive father. But let's not get bogged down too much in her sordid backstory, and focus instead on the fact that Jeane is lethal, beautiful, and edgy - the perfect video game heroine. She could easily be the star of her own beat-'em-up game, with elements of stealth thrown in. As a lone assassin, she could carry out missions for shady contractors, traversing levels with the speed and agility of Spiderman. If the combat was solid enough, then she wouldn't even need any weapons (just as in No More Heroes), relying on counterattacks, inhuman speed and special moves to brutally take out her enemies. An extra case for Jeane could be made by the fact that Lara Croft's gone all serious on us in recent years and Bayonetta's being shielded from the world on the Wii U. The gaming medium is overdue a new, edgy and adult female hero, and Jeane fits the bill perfectly.
