2. The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile (XBLA)
The Dishwasher returns with this rambunctious, brilliant sequel, Vampire Smile, where we again play the titular character, fighting through yet another fleet of enemies, but in addition to the Dishwasher, we can also play as his stepsister Yuki, as the two pursue their own specific quests. Simply, Dishwasher 2 is everything the original game was and more; it's frenetically-paced, gorgeous to look at, surprisingly intelligent as far as plotting is concerned, and at times maddeningly difficult. The combat, pacing and so on are as splendid as they were the first time around; it manages to mix the beautiful, almost balletic combat with some genuinely grim moments, making this one of the smartest and most thrilling games you can nab from XBLA.
