10 Awesome Xbox 360 Games You Probably Missed

1. Lost Odyssey

Lost Odyssey Flawed to a degree but also brilliant in its own way, Lost Odyssey is produced by Final Fantasy and Blue Dragon's Hironobu Sakaguchi, something that is abundantly clear from the outset, going by the vast, breathtaking open world, colourful characters and so on. Like Blue Dragon, Odyssey is a relatively old-school title, with the combat not in any way measuring up to, say, Final Fantasy XIII, yet the narrative - unfolding by way of visual novel flashbacks peppered throughout - is by turns clever and emotionally engaging. Simply, this is a game that puts the focus on its characters' hearts and minds rather than on how wacky they can possibly look, and is therefore a tremendously more rewarding sit as a result, even if it it also a very demanding sit also, easily eating up 50 hours on a fairly expedient playthrough (more if you include those ridiculously long load times). Still, you can nab it on E-Bay for £4 now, so why not take a punt? Did we miss any little-known gems? Let us know in the comments below.
