10 Awkward Moments In Awesome Recent Video Games

Blizzard's team-based first-person shooter, Overwatch took the multiplayer world by storm in 2016 thanks to its memorable characters, fast paced gameplay, and accessibility. The possibilities for different combinations of heroes on teams are seemingly limitless, and the memorable exchanges these heroes have throughout kept players engaged. With as many different heroes, and hence different possible exchanges as there are in Overwatch, it only makes sense that a few cringe inducing ones would slip through the cracks. The worst offender is an exchange between the 57-year-old Torbjorn, and the 19-year-old D. Va (who herself has a cornucopia of awkward lines of dialogue with different characters). He tells her that he wants to "Peak under her hood of her mech .", to which she understandably replies, "Hey! Hands off!" The way Torbjorn says this line, as well as D. Va's response, suggest he's not actually interested in anything related to machines. It gets even more awkward when you remember that Torbjorn already has a wife and eight kids, and D. Va practically is a child compared to other Overwatch heroes. It's incredibly uncomfortable for sure, but then again, not every hero can always be as charming as Tracer or Winston.
