10 Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 Games Microsoft Are Ignoring

3. Metal Gear Rising Revengance

Yes, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance may still have one of the stupidest names for a game. Ignoring that, it's still one of the coolest hack and slash games around.

Metal Gear Rising was one of the most stylish and impressive action games around when it released because of its "cut anything" mechanic. Raiden actually felt powerful because he could literally decimate most of the environment around him. The game also featured an amazing soundtrack, plenty of Metal Gear fan service and legitimately enjoyable gameplay.

Considering all of this and amazing critical reception, why isn't Metal Gear Rising backwards compatible? It's been heavily requested by fans and considering rumours of a sequel are always floating around, it's not like the game has disappeared from the public eye.

Considering that Bayonetta is currently available as a backwards compatible title, it doesn't make sense that Metal Gear Rising isn't. Maybe it's more Konami weirdness, but it needs to change soon.
