10 Batman Villains That Need Their Own Video Games

1. Scarecrow

Rocksteady StudiosRocksteady StudiosFirst Appearance: World's Finest Comics No.3, 1941 Traits: Psychology Expert, Chemist, Uses Fear As Weapon The Scarecrow has always been a formidable opponent for Batman. Both use fear as weapons, and the Scarecrow is one of the few regular villains that can claim to have subdued the caped crusader on multiple occasions. In the world of video games, the Scarecrow made his most notable appearance in Arkham Asylum. His appearance was terrifyingly unexpected, and his various boss fights were the highlights of a fantastic game. A Batman game in which Scarecrow is the primary antagonist only seems a natural fit for the darker direction in which the Arkham series has been heading. He is already set to appear in Arkham Knight, although it's unknown as to the full extent to which he'll be terrorising Gotham. Considering what developers Rocksteady were able to do with only a few levels of Scarecrow, we can only imagine how tense an entire game set in a fear gassed Gotham would be. Are there any villains that you'd like to see starring in their own game? Do you think the Arkham games have run their course already? Let us know in the comments below!
