10 Beloved PS1 Exclusives That NEED To Come Back
8. Vagrant Story
It would be fair to call Vagrant Story an ambitious title for its time. That's not a criticism, far from it. In fact, it's one of my favourite action/RPG's of all time.
And whilst I'm glad it hasn't been franchised and ran into the ground, it's been twenty years since Ashley Riot and Sidney Losstarot graced our consoles. I won't spoil the ending, but there was so much left to explore in the world and lore of Lea Monde.
Even if it couldn't be sequel'd, there's certainly a big enough demand to have it resurrected or remastered for the current generation. Back in 2000, Squaresoft were known for pushing the graphical capacity of the PlayStation. With the right team behind this one, just imagine how good it'd look on today's consoles.
It was no slouch for content, either. With a massive engrossing weapon and armour system, as well as plenty of rooms and puzzles to explore, it was bigger than what we'd thought it'd be.
The Riotbreaker's return would be well received, especially in the wake of Final Fantasy VII's remake.
