10 Best Capcom Games Of The Decade - Ranked
10. Street Fighter V
Just nabbing the tenth spot thanks to Capcom turning enough of it around to be more than recommendable, Street Fighter V sadly started out life as a shell of its future self.
No vs. CPU mode (yes, really), no Arcade mode, terrible server issues, no tutorial - the list went on and on.
The reason? It was rushed out of development to capitalise on being ready for the Capcom Pro Tour esports tournament, but thankfully, that crowd took to this thing like any diehard set of fans would to a new Street Fighter anyway.
Here we got to see how the new V-Trigger special moves impact combat, and all the work Capcom had done on the game's gorgeous comic book visuals was shown off by the best players in the world.
Picking up a copy today reminds you that Street Fighter's base gameplay is ageless and identifiable as hell. After a couple of years of mistakes and early access-style annoyances, the whole roster is now worth taking for a spin - not to mention the aforementioned missing modes are present and correct.
Street Fighter V is more than worth playing now, but boy what a mess.
