10 Best Ever Minecraft Mods

Honourable Mention: Too Many Items

A special mention goes out to the awesome Too Many Items mod. An in-game inventory editor allowing you to quickly add any item you want to your inventory, including items added by other mods. While I wouldn't recommend this mod to anyone playing Minecraft normally, if you're into building huge Redstone contraptions or monster filled dungeons then this mod makes things a whole lot easier. A word of warning though, this mod is a cheat, and using it on a multiplayer server will almost always end with a ban, or at least some very disapproving looks from other players. If you want to use this great utility for yourself you can find it here.

Final Thoughts

Just when I thought I had had enough of Minecraft these mods managed to suck me back in all over again. All of these mods add hours of enjoyment onto what is already a fantastic game. If you own Minecraft then you absolutely have to get stuck into the modding community. Even if none of the mods I've mentioned have tickled your fancy there€™s sure to be a mod out there that's just right for you. So what are you waiting for? Get to it! Have you found an awesome mod that I've overlooked? Perhaps you think these 10 mods aren't in fact the best Minecraft mods ever. Whatever your opinion, we want to hear it! So get commenting.
