10 Best First-Person Shooters Of All Time
7. Wolfenstein 2: New Colossus
Opening with a level where you have to use a wheelchair and a pistol to kill Nazis this game does what it does best from the get-go. Despite elements of stealth, Wolfenstein 2 is truly an all-out assault against the Nazis with a crazy premise as well as twists that only increase the insanity.
B.J. Blazkowicz first appeared in 1992 and as many of you will have guessed he killed a lot of Nazis. When the franchise was somewhat rebooted with publisher Bethesda, Blazkowicz returned to doing what he did best.
While the first instalment of the reboot was strong, it seems that Wolfenstein 2: New Colossus really turned up the volume in terms of sheer bravado and epic action scenes.
This title saw players traverse America, killing Nazis and having their own head cut off. In short, this game exemplified how good a title can be when it commits to its premise and lets go of all pretense. Wolfenstein 2 is an essential thrill ride for fans of first person shooters.
