2. GWENT: The Witcher Card Game
The Gwent card game was one of the most addicting parts of the fantastic Witcher 3, so CD Projekt RED have gone out of their way to provide a dedicated platform for playing it. You get a bunch of decks to start out with, all perfectly playable and most importantly, fun to use. They all play differently and represent various factions from the game.
You play cards to increase your point total and whoever has the highest total at the end of a round wins. You can’t play all of your cards at once though, as you’ll have none left for later in the game. It’s really quite simple to grasp, but there’s a lot of strategy and planning required at higher levels.
You can of course purchase additional cards with real money, but packs (Kegs in this instance) are given out frequently enough that you likely won't feel the need to.
