10 Best Gaming Soundtracks Of 2012

7. Fez

Fez

For those who said the 8-bit era was dead, look no further. Fez is a refreshed, light-hearted way of reintroducing us to the golden era of gaming. The colour it brings to our screens is unmatched by none, showing innocence and innovation through only a few mouse-clicks. And to be frank, the soundtrack is exactly so.

It's colourful, retro, innovative, mysterious and light hearted all in one. The soundtrack was mostly created by the studio Disasterpiece, which is surprisingly different as most games are listed by individual composers. And so, another thing makes this game unique from the top shelf shooters being released every week. The naturally crafted 8-bit tunes simply remind us of what came before, when gaming was not a battle for awards and titles, but fun. Nothing more or less.

For the year 2012, Fez was the little game that could. For its soundtrack, it was the same - but did.
