4. Master's Defender (Birth By Sleep)

Master's Defender is the Keyblade of both Master Eraqus and Aqua in Birth By Sleep and 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage. It is simply unlocked by getting far enough in the story and is available for only a short period of time after getting it.

Despite this, Master's Defender has one of the best stats in the game, with high magic and high power. It's the best Keyblade in the game up to that point, only appearing in the Secret Episode after completing the game. The biggest downside to it is the limited use it gets in the story, although this is somewhat rectified with its inclusion in 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage.

The design of the Keyblade is very simple but elegant, resembling the simplistic design of Castle Oblivion. It also holds high story importance, creating Castle Oblivion and guiding Aqua through the realm of darkness. Despite its limited appearances throughout the series, it has already become one of the most recognisable in the series to date.

From the first trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, fans know that it will play a big part in the long awaited third game. Here's hoping it gets a chance to shine.
