10. LEGO Avengers

Lego Avengers is just alright. It hits the point in the Lego series where gameplay became very samey, and doesn't add nearly enough to the table to be incredibly new and exciting. However, it does bring the various MCU movies alive in classic Lego fashion, bringing you into some already incredible movies. The opening scene alone as the Avengers storm the base in Sokovia is just as exciting - if not more so - than the movie.

However, for all its bells and whistles, it feels like a watered down version of Lego Marvel Superheroes, and ultimately doesn't have the same degree of heart and soul as that game. Yet, despite being watered down, it feels as if they tried a little too hard to make the game unique with a number of puzzle sequences and character-swapping sections, but not really going the extra mile.

Add to that the chopped up story that pieces together different set-pieces from the various MCU movies to tell a simplified version of that entire arc, and you get a game that is a lot of fun to play, but doesn't have that substance beneath the surface that makes the other games pure cathartic fun.
