As if murdering thousands and thousands of zombies by yourself wasn't fun enough, why not throw a friend into the mix?
Playing through the campaign as Nick Ramos, a friend can join your playthrough and become Dick (yep, that's right) and help you.
Dead Rising 2 introduced weapon customisation, and this was carried over and built upon for Dead Rising 3. Not only are there sixty-four combo weapons and thirty-seven super combo weapons, Capcom had the ingenious idea to add in combo vehicles.
Want to combine a forklift and a fireworks van to create a vehicle that can impale your undead enemies before firing them up into the sky to explode in a jettison of brightly-coloured chunks? Go for it! There's even a second turret for your partner to operate.
All of the infamous psychopaths can also be tackled in co-op, although you may want to ramp the difficulty up for these encounters. You don't want the game to be a total walk in the park.
With the biggest hordes, grittiest world and most unique gameplay in the series (in that it branches away from the brightly coloured goofiness of 1, 2 and 4), Dead Rising 3 is sure to provide you and your friend all the fun you could want.
