10 Best Nintendo Switch Horror Games
9. Observer
Here's one for those who love that cyberpunk aesthetic but want something a little scarier than 2077.
This title is an incredibly unique experience that focusses less on gameplay and rather an incredible narrative and world unlike anything you've seen in gaming before. It gives Blade Runner a run for it's money regarding a bleak and pessimistic look at a Sci-Fi future - and even stars Rutger Hauer from that classic flick.
Observer is set in Poland in the year 2084, with humanity looking rather grim after a catastrophic plague known as the nanophage cost thousands of lives. You play as Daniel Lazarski, a detective known as an Observer, who uses technology to hack into people's minds to interrogate them.
Observer's concept is, as you can probably tell, very interesting but dark. As you investigate the crime riddled city of Krakow and attempt to solve the mainline mission, you'll experience a tonne of bizarre scenarios, with some of the most compelling being the dream sequences that occur during mind-hackings.
Overall the rich atmosphere has you always feeling on edge, as the dystopian world feels so mechanical, and you're met with hostility wherever you go.
