10 Best Overwatch Characters - Ranked
6. Orisa
Backstory: Whilst only the most recent character released, Orisa has a backstory steeped in lore. She’s only here as a direct result of major story developments, and Blizzard even went to far as to change one of the in game maps to signal her arrival. 9/10
Abilities: Orisa feels like a ‘best of’ compilation of other heroes, taking abilities from elsewhere to create a very useful skill-set. She’s able to move without enemy abilities impeding her, as well as make use of a giant Gatling style gun. She can deploy a curved shield anywhere within range, and also shoot out a ball of energy that attracts all enemies towards it, like a miniature Zarya ult. Her ult supercharges all allies within a fairly large area. 8/10
Design: Orisa was designed to fit in with the Numbani stage, and fit in she does. Her default skin borrows from typical design and architectural conventions found around the city, and as a keeper of the peace, she sways away from looking overly intimidating, yet still manages to look rock solid. Whilst her legendary skins are just variations on the standard quadrupedal robot model, they change the look of the character significantly. 8/10
Score: 8.5/10
