10 Best PlayStation 1 Multiplayer Games

If you do a quick poll of your friends and ask them for any good multiplayer games for the PS1, Crash Team Racing will most likely be the most popular answer. A kart racing game that allows four players and features a whole host of characters from one of gaming's biggest IPs? There was nothing better.

While comparisons with the Mario Kart franchise are inevitable, CTR deserves to be taken on its own merits.

A great character roster, fun levels and power-ups that fit in perfectly with the Crash Bandicoot universe, CTR is one of the greatest racing games ever made. As it allows 4 player split screen, it also becomes one of the best multiplayer games money can buy, even to this day (sans the remake).

This was the last Crash Bandicoot title Naughty Dog worked on, and it's a VERY fitting send off, rounding out their time on PS1 with incredible results.
