1. Uncharted
The Uncharted series encapsulates everything that makes PlayStation great; beautiful visuals, entertaining gameplay and enchanting characters in great stories.
Even with having six different games in the series so far, every single Uncharted title has been great in it's own regard. Drake's Fortune set the bar for Naughty Dog's new franchise, Honour Among Thieves managed to blow that bar out of the water and Drake's Deception capped the original trilogy off with one of the most personal stories.
A Thieves' End and Lost Legacy managed to capture what made the original three great and made them even better. Every single time an Uncharted game is released, it often ends up being the highlight of the year.
Even the PS Vita title, Golden Abyss, delivered more Uncharted goodness in a compact package. Although having a consistent gameplay is one reason why these games are all fantastic, there's a lot more to it than that. The spirit and heart of Uncharted is truly what makes it special, and what makes it extremely hard for any other games to replicate.
