10 Best Point And Click Video Game Adventures Ever

7. The Walking Dead

The Adventure:

So much has been written about Telltale€™s genre-changing graphic adventure series, that it€™s often hard judging where to start with the plaudits. Set in comic creator Robert Kirkman€™s apocalyptic Georgia, the story was drip fed by way of an episodic format, with each entry forcing players to make life and death decisions. The results can be heartbreaking. Interface-wise, this was a pure point and click-driven saga where progression was dependent on choosing the right, or wrong, conversation thread, as well as making head-splitting decisions via quick time events. Season three is still a lumbering entity on the horizon, but following it being given the green light at last years San Diego Comic-Con the bods at Telltale have prepared us to expect something very different,

Puzzling Par Excellence:

Puzzles in The Walking Dead are not so much satisfying as they are downright depressing, with the majority ending in a favourite character meeting his or hers demise. This doesn€™t come any better than during season two€™s final episode, €˜No Going Back€™ where you€™re faced with Kenny and Jane in a fight to the death - who do you give that vital helping hand?
