10 Best Single-Player DLCs In Video Games

8. Citadel - Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect had a lot of great DLCs: Lair of the Shadow Broker, Overlord, Omega, From The Ashes. However, Citadel's simple approach to just allow the player to have a laugh with all your old friends trumps them all.

It goes without saying that Mass Effect 3's ending frustrated a lot of players, and thankfully, the best course of action in Citadel relieved that stress by granting the crew of the Normandy (and the player) a bout of extended shore leave.

The majority of the DLC takes place around the story of a conspiracy that targets Commander Shepard. He and his crew must uncover the truth, but the true essence and greatness of this DLC lies within the interactions between characters, their dialogue and the humour that comes of it.
