10 Best Single-Player DLCs In Video Games
7. Old World Blues - Fallout: New Vegas
There's a divide when it comes to New Vegas: people either consider this a buggy, rushed, cash-in mess or a fantastic Fallout game that greatly outdoes Fallout 3, one extreme to another. There doesn't seem to be much of a middle ground, however, Old World Blues looked to change the minds of the negative.
The Courier (player) becomes a lab rat for an experiment that goes wrong. You're left scouring the 'Big Mountain' searching for your captors, either to help them or turn on them.
You're then able to take as many pre-war weapons, armour and tech that you can handle to battle mutated animals and atomic robots, discovering bases and underground labs along the way.
Old World Blues is chock-full of quests, perks and challenges to keep you occupied for way longer than a DLC should and is currently available for fairly cheap.
